House in the Highlands

Einich, Newtonmore, Inverness-shire

Update for our guests (9 July 2020)

To provide our guests with a guide as to how we have prepared for reopening we have set up a new page, COVID 19, on this website. Please do take the opportunity to review the page and if you have any questions then do contact us. Please do note our change of times for arrival and departure (updated 30 June). The guidance is to ensure the welfare of our guests, and those who work tirelessly behind the scences to prepare Einich for guests, are looked after. It goes without saying that we do please ask guests not travel if they have, or are showing symptoms of, Coronavirus.

If you have any questions relating to your booking then do not hesitate to contact me, or if you booked via our agent or one of their affliated companies, please contact the agent.

After two years we are sorry to be saying goodbye to Viki, our housekeeper, but delighted to welcome Emma who has taken on the role from our reopening. Please do contact Emma prior to your arrival to arrange access and we can ensure check in is undertaken in accordance with guidelines.

If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to contact me direct on

Best wishes, David

What our Guests say

“We had a wonderful stay at Einich. The house is gorgeous with every comfort you would wish for. The area is peaceful and friendly but close enough to many attractions and lively Aviemore. A truly beautiful break away in the Highlands." January 2020

“Just returned after a week in this great family friendly house. Spacious accommodation and fantastic location to explore the surrounding area. Looking forward to booking up for next year." October 2019

“Fantastic cottage. Everything is well catered for. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. Would definitely recommend to others.” October 2019

“We loved our holiday at Einich, this wonderful homely house is lovely to come back to after a day out exploring the highlands. We didn't want to leave this lovely house. It is well equipped, comfortable, and there is no place we would rather be.” September 2019

"Fabulous holiday was had at Einich with its great space which was something of a luxury in itself to all of us.
The garden was great for us and our dog's tail never stopped wagging with all the freedom offered and a well presented traditional house with a beautiful setting to wake up in. Only a more pretencious and needy person could ever find fault with.

Highly recommended with the owner and the lady who tends to the house being very helpul in their efforts making sure all was well with our stay." August 2019
